doobi is based in Bahrain. The platform commits to Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 30 of 2018.
That commitment is written into the platform agreement. It is the data protection law of the market we operate in.
Not everyone sees everything.
Access is role-based: owners, branch managers and staff each sign in with their own role and its own access.
The person at the counter signs in as staff, not as the owner. Roles are managed in the Admins module, by you.
Every sensitive action leaves a record.
- Who: the user, and the role they held at the time.
- What: the action, the record, and what changed.
- When: timestamped, in order, unaltered.
- Where: IP and device, for anything sensitive.
That record is the answer to a disputed refund, a missing bag, or a price that changed overnight.
Hosted in the cloud. Backed up daily.
The platform runs on cloud hosting with daily backups, on every plan.
There is no server for you to run, and no backup routine for you to remember.
If you leave, your data leaves with you.
On request we export everything: your customers, your orders, your records. Then we delete our copy.
