The bag arrives with the order already on it.
A handover from a driver, or a bag carried through from the counter: either way the order is already on the screen when the bag reaches the floor.
Nothing is re-keyed at intake, and nobody writes a ticket number on a label in biro.

Intake is where the count is agreed.
Items are counted in and tagged, and where the count differs from what was booked, it is adjusted here and the order changes with it.
The disagreement happens once, at intake, instead of at the counter a week later with the customer standing there.

The floor works from the screen, not from memory.
Every piece sits at a stage, and the stages are the ones you named for your own floor.
Anyone on shift can see what is due, what is late and what is waiting to go out, without asking the person who opened the bag.

What happens to a piece is recorded as it happens.
Photographs, washing instructions and notes attach to the job while the work is being done, not reconstructed afterwards.
When a customer questions a mark, the answer already exists.

Ready is a state the whole business can see.
The moment the floor marks an order ready, the counter knows it can be collected and the office knows it can be scheduled.
The customer's app knows too. Nobody is waiting on a phone call from the back room.
Where it sits in the platform
Orders arrive from the Admin Control Panel, and garments arrive on the pickups run from the Driver app. At ready, the order joins a delivery route.
